FAQs

  • The Pinnacle Business Operating System is a flexible framework designed to help leadership teams get clear, aligned, and focused — fast.

Unlike rigid systems, Pinnacle lets us bring the right tool at the right time, tailored to your business. It builds on proven principles from EOS®, Scaling Up, and others, but removes the "one-size-fits-all" approach.

Unlike older and legacy systems that were built at a point and time and have not been updated, Pinnacle is modern and constantly being updated to bring in the best tools and concepts that help you and your team overcome any obstacle.

  • I work with growth-minded entrepreneurial leadership teams, typically in the $5M–$50M revenue range.

Clients are usually at an inflection point — growing quickly, hitting people problems, or realizing what got them here won’t get them there.

I have worked across many industries, including healthcare services, home services (e.g. pest control), B2B services, professional services, and many others.

  • That’s a great place to start from. Many of my clients were already using EOS®, Scaling Up, or something similar before we started working together. In fact, I used EOS® myself when running my company.

What Pinnacle does is build on what’s working — and elevate it. It keeps the structure but adds flexibility, strategy, and customization based on where your business is today. We’ll bring in tools and disciplines that help you level up without throwing out everything you’ve built.

If you feel like you’ve hit a ceiling or the system has gone stale, Pinnacle might be exactly what your team needs to break through.

  • No system works for everyone — and neither do I. Pinnacle works best when the CEO and leadership team are growth-minded, coachable, and committed to doing the hard work together. If there's no willingness to face the brutal facts, have courageous conversations, or take consistent action, this probably isn't a fit.

I also don’t recommend Pinnacle for businesses with unclear ownership, toxic culture at the top, or leaders who want a quick fix. This is a climb.

That said, when the right team gets committed, Pinnacle works. I’ve seen it transform not just businesses, but people and lives.

I don’t have any long-term contracts. So if Pinnacle or my coaching style isn’t a fit for you or doesn’t generate value, you can cancel at any time.

If you’re unsure, let’s talk — I’ll help you figure out whether it’s the right fit.

  • Most teams can build a strong foundation in 12 to 24 months — aligning around vision, getting the right people in the right seats, and driving execution through a custom operating system. That alone can be transformational.

But the best clients don’t stop there. They see Pinnacle as more than a project — it becomes part of how they lead and grow. When I was running my own company, I worked with my Guide for over four years. Why? Because every time we hit a ceiling, he helped us break through it.

As your Guide, I’ll help you scale each new mountain — not just the first one. Whether you're navigating fast growth, leadership transitions, M&A, or evolving your strategy, I’ll be there to challenge, support, and guide you on the climb.

  • Absolutely. Having a vision is just the starting point. I help leadership teams align around it, build a strategy and system to execute it, and create a culture where your people actually want to make it happen.

  • Yes — and in many cases, it’s a perfect fit.

The Pinnacle framework helps any leadership team gain clarity, align around a common purpose, and execute more effectively. I’ve worked with nonprofit organizations that needed the same things most for-profits do: stronger team alignment, better communication, clearer accountability, and a plan to scale impact without burning people out.

In fact, because Pinnacle starts with Purpose and includes tools like Core Values, Strategic Vision, and People alignment, it often resonates deeply with mission-driven teams. I’ll tailor the approach to match your organization’s goals, funding model, and stakeholder dynamics.

If you’re running a nonprofit and want to amplify your impact — without losing your soul or your sanity — let’s talk.

  • Both — and it depends on what will create the most impact for your team.

Many clients choose in-person for Base Camp and annual planning sessions to build connection and go deep. Quarterly sessions can be virtual or in-person depending on your team’s location, budget, and preference. I’ve led high-impact sessions both ways.

I’ll work with you to find the right rhythm — one that balances energy, logistics, and outcomes. Whether we’re across the table or across the screen, the goal is the same: clear strategy, aligned leadership, and intentional execution.

  • I use a simple monthly membership model with no long-term contract. It’s a flat, all-inclusive fee that covers everything: your access to the Pinnacle framework and toolbox, coaching during and between sessions, prep work, tools, and follow-up. No surprise charges. No nickel-and-diming for travel, meals, or meeting space.

There are also ways to manage cost — like choosing virtual sessions instead of flying me in. We’ll find a cadence and structure that works for your team and your budget.

If you’re curious whether it fits, let’s talk. I’ll be transparent, and you can decide if the value matches the investment.

  • You can — and I actually started that way in my own business. But what I found was this: it’s hard to wear all the hats. As CEO, I was trying to lead the company and facilitate the process, push the team, manage the tools, and stay objective. It was a lot.

When we brought in a coach, everything changed. I could focus on being the CEO — sitting on the same side of the table as my team — while our Guide facilitated, challenged us, and helped us break through ceilings faster. He wasn’t afraid to “run to the danger,” and that made all the difference.

A great Guide doesn’t just bring tools — they bring courage, clarity, and momentum. If you’re serious about scaling, having someone in your corner who’s not in the weeds with you is a game-changer.
